• The age of the candidates who are applying for Legal Assistant (Delhi Pollution Control Committee) must not be more than 30 years.
• The candidates who are applying for the post of Legal Assistant (Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board) must not be more than 30 years.
• The maximum age of the candidates applying for Legal Assistant (Department of Law, Justice and Legislative Affairs) Not exceeded from 30 years
• The minimum age of the candidates applying for Legal Assistant (Delhi Transport Corporation) must not be less than 18 years, and the maximum age to apply for this post under DSSSB Recruitment 2026 must not be more than 30 years.
• The age of the candidates applying for Assistant Engineer (Delhi Jal Board) must not exceeded from 30 years.
• The maximum age of the candidates applying for Assistant Engineer (Delhi Agricultural Marketing Board) must not be more than 32 years.
• The maximum age of the candidates who are applying for the post of Junior Engineer (Delhi Jal Board) must not be more than 30 years
• The age of the candidates applying for Junior Engineer (New Delhi Municipal Council) should not be less than 18 years, and the maximum age to apply for this post under DSSSB Vacancy 2026 must not be more than 32 years.
• For the post of Assistant Section Officer (Service Department), the minimum age of the candidates must be between 21 and 30 years.
• If you are applying for the post of Assistant Section Officer (Delhi Pollution Control Committee & Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board), then your age must not be more than 30 years.
• The age of the candidates will be determined on 25 March 2026.
• The candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste and scheduled tribe (Group B & C) will get upper age relaxation of 5 years
• The candidates who belong to Over Backward Caste (Group B & C) will get upper age relaxation of 3 years
• PWBD Candidates (Group B & C) will get upper age relaxation of 10 years
• PWBD Candidates who belong to SC/ST (Group B & C) will get upper age relaxation of 15 years
• PWBD Candidates who belong to over backward caste will get upper age relaxation of 13 years.

Educational Qualification for DSSSB Recruitment 2026

• The candidates who are applying for the post of Legal Assistant must have a degree in Law from a recognised board or university that is approved by the government. The candidates with any equivalent degree are also eligible to apply for this post.
• The candidates who are applying for the post of Assistant Engineer must have a degree in civil engineering from a recognised board or university. The candidates who have any other equivalent degree can also apply for DSSSB Recruitment 2026.
• For the post of Junior Engineer, the candidates must have 3 years diploma degree in civil engineering from a recognised board or university that must be approved by the government. The candidates who have any other equivalent degree other than a diploma can also apply for this post.
• For the post of Assistant Section Officer, the candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised board or university that must be government-approved, or any other equivalent degree is acceptable for this post.
