Educational Qualification for SSC CPO Recruitment 2026
The candidates who are applying for the post of SI in Delhi Police and SI in CAPFs must have a bachelor’s degree obtained from a recognized board or university. The board or university from which the degree has been obtained must be approved by the government. Candidates with any other equivalent degree can also apply for this recruitment. Candidates who are in the final year or waiting for the results can also appear in the examination, but they will have to possess their educational qualification on the closing date of receipt of the application form.
The candidates who are applying for the post of SI (Fire) must have a bachelor’s degree in science with physics, maths, and chemistry from a recognized board or university that must be approved by the government. Candidates with any similar degree can also apply for SSC CPO Recruitment 2026.

Physical Endurance Test
Male candidates will have to perform a race of 100 meters that needs to be completed in 16 seconds and a 1.6 km race that needs to be completed in 6.5 minutes. Male candidates will have to perform a long jump of 3.65 meters and a high jump of 1.2 meters. There will be 3 attempts to pass this stage. Finally, a shot put (16 lbs) of 0.9 meters will be performed, and 3 attempts will be given to pass this test.
Female candidates will have to perform a race of 100 meters that needs to be completed in 18 seconds, and a race of 800 meters will be organized; the time allotted to complete this test will be 4 minutes. Long jump of 2.7 meters and high jump of 0.9 meters will be performed, and 3 attempts will be given to pass this test.
Medical Examination:
The candidates who pass all the stages mentioned above for the SSC CPO vacancy 2026 will be called for medical examination. The candidates who clear the medical examination will be selected for the post they have applied for.
