Punjab National Bank PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 (PNB) releases several job notifications every year to hire eligible candidates for different posts in different locations in India. Again, this year, the organisation has released an official notification regarding PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 to hire 5138 eligible candidates for the post of Apprentice. The online application window will open on 8th February 2026 and will conclude on 24^th February 2026. So, all the interested candidates can fill out the online application form in between.

Eligibility Criteria for PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2026

• The candidates who are posted in Rural / Semi-Urban / Urban will get a stipend of 12,300 INR Per month
• The candidates who are posted in Metro areas will get a salary of 15000 per month
• No other allowance will be provided to the candidates during the training period
• The candidates will not be treated as regular employees of PNB during the training period, and hence, they are not liable to avail any benefits given to the regular employees of PNB during the training period.
• The candidates who are selected under the PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will get their salary at the end of every month.

Application fee for PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2026

The Candidates who are going to fill out the online application form of PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2026 will have to pay the application fee that is mandatory for all categories, as mentioned below:

• The candidates who belong to the general caste, OBC, and EWS (Male Only) will have to pay INR 100 as Application Processing Fee + INR 600 as Examination Fee + INR 100 as intimation fee + 18% GST. It means the candidates will have to pay a sum of INR 944 to apply for the PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2026.
• The candidates who fall into categories of General, OBC and EWS (For Female Only) will have to pay INR 100 as processing fee + INR 400 as examination fee + INR 100 as intimation Fee + 18% GST, meaning a total of INR 708.

• For transgender, INR 100 as processing fee + INR 100 as intimation fee + 18 % GST. It means a total of INR 236 will be paid by the transgender to apply for the PNB Recruitment 2026.

Selection Process of PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2026

The selection of the candidates will be based on different parameters. First of all, candidates will have to face a written examination.

Written Examination: The questions in the written examination will be asked from 4 different subjects: General / Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude and Computer Knowledge. A total of 25 questions will be asked from each subject, and the total number allotted for each question is 1 mark. The total time allotted to solve the written examination will be 60 minutes, i.e. 1 hour.

Document Verification: The candidates who got selected in the written examination will be asked for document verification at the centre as decided by the authorities. The following documents will be required for the process of document verification:

• Print out the Application form/Registration Form and Intimation letter as provided by the bank
• Proof of Date of Birth that may be clearly mentioned on the marksheet, or a copy of Date of Birth or may be mentioned on any other document.
• Valid photo identity proof having the matching name of the driving licence, PAN card, voter ID, etc.
• Candidates also need to carry all marksheet of graduation and other equivalent degrees
• Caste certification is also mandatory

Test of Local Language: A test of local language will also be conducted for the candidates applying for the particular state or Union Territories. The candidates must be proficient in speaking, reading, understanding and writing any one local language to get selected under PNB Apprentice Recruitment 2026. The candidates who have studied the local language in 10th or 12th grade need not face the local language test. Other candidates will have to go through a local language test once they are called for the document verification process.

Medical Examination: The candidates will be asked for a medical examination, where their physical and mental ability will be tested.
